Moribana!

Today in my flower arrangement class we did Moribana, or Free Style. So basically, doing whatever you want, not taking into account length or angle. At first I was like, 'ummmmmm, der?' You know me, I need rules! So I just kind of 'meh'ed my way through it, but as it turns out, I'm a natural. :D heehee! Mine got [undeserved] applause! hahaha... It was probably because everyone else did something kind of like what we've been doing, but I went in a different direction (literally), with something I saw in the book that the teacher had.

Yay! I like mine! :)

And now I'm eating something that tastes like those flat cookie type things that are vanilla, or strawberry or chocolate flavored. They're called "Collon." ahahaha... Japanese people are weird. But they taste yummy! Oh...now I've eaten too many and they're too sweet... ick..

I can't wait until Breaking Dawn comes out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad I probably won't be able to read it... :( unless I buy another electronic version. I don't wanna.....

OH! hahaha, I taught two of my students a new English word! (it was because I asked them what their favorite English word was and then they asked me what mine was..) Ha.. 'nincompoop!' :D The two girls are 8 and 9 nine years old, but the 8 year old couldn't really say it, ahha. She kept saying, "nincomboomboo!" haha, it was SO funny to hear that word coming out of their mouths!!!

Hi Julie - I'm so glad you went to the flower arranging class! Beautiful. Applause! Applause!

I checked the earthquake site. Have you felt any aftershocks?

And "not yet." There is so much to do. Every day is a blessing.

Love, Mom
