The day I enlightened the Japanese people on the delicacy of...

S'mores!!!!!!!!!!! :D I finally got a chance to use the stuff that Mom and Dad sent me for my birthday! A bunch of people from the ward met at the ocean--yes!! THE OCEAN!!--and we had a BBQ, and then afterwards I taught them how to make s'mores. They LOVED them! They had never even roasted marshmallows before. :0 *shock*

Anyways, this is what a Japanese BBQ looks like! And nope, it's not complete if there isn't a squid or two... Ew. I didn't have any of that... But everything else was great! Someone brought out the pork (which isn't pictured here) and one of the moms said, "OoohhH! Yokosou, buta-san!" Which means, "Oh! Welcome, Mr. Pig!" She's so funny :) She looooves food!

This is me, celebrating my first real time at the ocean since I've been here. Woot!

Me and Jeanette: Gaijin Powah! (Foreigner Power!) Our friends kept taking pictures of us, so we got a lot of poses in, but it wasn't until after we were finished that I noticed a group of guys maybe 15 feet away, watching us. They thought we were pretty funny. hahaha. :)

I love watching chilluns play! Their laughs are so cute and happy! :)

Jeanette drew this picture of them playing and then they got in front of it and played! haha, so I took a picture!

"Big Bird was here." hahahahaha
