*sigh*.... I told myself after looking at last night's typhoon that if it was still raining in the morning, I wouldn't go to church because I didn't want to ruin my shoes. Well, you laugh and say that "materialism makes you cry" but I really can't afford to ruin any of my shoes. For one, I'm in Japan and these people don't carry my size anywhere. Two, I like my shoes! Well, this morning I woke up and it wasn't raining--or so I thought. It was raining a liiiiittle bit, but I thought I would be fine. Got to church ok, but then it started raining a lot harder. Uh-oh... After I got out of church and started my trek home, I realized one of my shoes sounded louder than the other... Hmm.. I didn't stop to check what was wrong, because there'd be nothing I could do about it if there was! Got on the train, got off, and then noticed my other shoe now matched the weirder sounding one. Hrrmm... After my 15 minute walk home in the much harder rain, I finally took my shoes off--the heels had worn through and I could see the metal that had before been hidden under the harder rubber (or whatever my shoes are made out of). Yup. Julie just ruined her shoes. Course, heels weren't really made to walk 25 minutes to church in, either... That's just one thing that stinks about living far away from a church.... poo! Now I have one less pair of shoes... :( Oh well, they were from Payless, and not that expensive, and kind of falling apart anyway (from previous walks to church). *sigh*
I really like Marie Digby's music!!! She's kinda new, but made her fame through YouTube, and now she's skyrocketed! Her music is so cute and fun and nice and simple, and I loves it! (I have one of her songs, "Spell," on my playlist.)
I saw a blue heron and a white heron! That was cool.
Can't wait to come home!
I want to sing "Popular" again! SUPERfun! :D
