The three American elders were... in a word... young. It was actually really annoying, and I thought, "is this what I want to go back to?" Yeah. I couldn't believe how dumb there were. And Elder Ito was, well, different. Poor guy, I think he was a little left out cuz he was the only Japanese elder, but he didn't seem upset by it. He seems very reflective, quiet, not loud and annoying, appreciative of his surroundings, but maybe that's because he's older. He's my age. So it was good to see a guy that wasn't an idiot. I keep forgetting that missionaries are YOUNG! I'm way older than them! My SISTERS are older than them! Weird.
This is me and Sister Hedberg. She's the one who is drawing my characters. :D I took a look at a couple of her sketches, and they're great! Then on the train ride home, I watched her draw, and I just couldn't stop staring with a permagrin, looking at the pictures come to life. That made me happy. heheeee~
Another star leaf tree! Elder Ito was quietly taking pictures of it like this, so I thought I'd snap one too!
And I've saved the best for last!!!!!!!!! The pictures that Sister Hedberg drew! They're in her style, and Jenna isn't like I envisioned, but I gave her some pointers, and the next thing she drew was AWESOME. Ben's hair is awesome. He's not this thin, but dang. I am happy!

Nice sketches! What will the cover art be?
Mom
The red wallpaper (?) on your blog does eerie things to the sky - kind of like northern lights! Cool!
I didn't know about Sister Hedberg. Where have I been? Great drawings! But I like yours too. It's probably good, though, to have someone talented in drawing you can bounce ideas off. I have a good feeling about the future of this book!
Love,
Dad
