But Saturday was a karaoke party with church members, and that was fun. Yuki and I sang "Survivor" by Destiny's Child and we rocked it, especialliy that part in the middle where you battle out with "ooh", "ooh", etc, etc. :D yay!
Then Sunday was my last day at church, so there was a goodbye party afterwards with some food. I didn't end up really eating anything because I felt all nervous inside because I had to get up and make a "speech." But a lot of people stood to say something about a memory or something. :*) Yuki, of course, just about made me cry. (I had prepared myself for that though, and was about to stand up and make my speech so I did NOT cry!) Then I got up, said a few things (Bro. Saito translated for me), then I sang a song :) Yeah, I hate saying goodbye. I just want to leave and get it overwith.
Here's my branch!
Monday was my day off, so Ryoko-san and I went to Sendai! Well, it turned out to be not so great because shopping in Sendai is meant for little people. Even in the really expensive stores, they didn't make things for me. :( But I tried not to let it get me down because I just kept thinking, "Ok, in two weeks you'll be able to shop in America and spend all your money!!!" haha.. :) After Sendai (oh, we saw two of my students when we were walking to the train station! They were riding in their car with their family, and rolled down the window and were like, 'Julie!! hi!!!' haha, that was really guuzen! (Coincidental)). Oh, so after Sendai we went back to Ishinomaki and went to our FABulous Gorgeous dinner at the Grand Hotel! Holy expensive! $50....! PER PERSON. And Ryoko-san paid for it... And she also gave me TONS of presents. (She told me she bought them throughout the year, haha, that she saw something one month, thought "oh, this looks like julie!", then the next month found something else and bought that too. aww) I really didn't want her to do that.. And there were five courses in the dinner. WHOA. But it was way yummers! Here's the dessert!
So I have more to write about Matsushima, but I will put that in a different post!

You got your courage up. You taught. You endured a few bad times. You enjoyed many wonderful times. You touched lives. You will never be forgotten by those good people.
Teaching - no greater call.
