Wow, I'm not in Yamoto anymore... Huh.. It feels weird.
BUT!
I'm in Tokyo and it's just SO BIG!! My hotel is not as scary as I thought it would be. It's actually pretty nice considering it's dirt cheap. I gots to take pictures of it! The room is tiny, but there's a nice size kitchen, a little area where you can sit, 3 sinks, 3 bathrooms and then a big bathroom like a restroom with about 6 stalls, then 2 showers. The living areas are shared between 3 different rooms so 12 people could live on one floor. But the floor I'm on seems to only have a few people on it, which is nice. yay! There's only one bag in the room I'm in, so I hope she's cool. I think she's Asian, but...dunno! I haven't seen her! I only kinda looked at the name on her airplane tag. Heh!
I took a walk around and there's a LOT of restaurants, and a karaoke place and a department store. Hopefully I get better and my voice too so I can go to karaoke with Erica. How fun would that be!??! I KNOW!
Anyways, I am really excited to be here, even though I'm not sure really what I'm going to do. There's a girl here that I talked to, and before I even said anything to her, I thought, "hmmm, I wonder where she's from...Does she speak English?" And if she didn't speak English, I would try Japanese, and if not, I could spit out a French phrase. WELL! Turns out she's from France!!!! She talked to me first though, in English (she's really good!), and she's really nice. She told me some places that she went that were interesting. Then her friend came in and she said, "c'est Julie." and her friend said, "salut." AAAH!! :D Another language other than Japanese that I kind of know! It was awesome. I should've said, 'salut' back, but my accent is terrible, so I just said "hello." haha.. :) Anyways, that right there made me want to learn French [again]. It's a nice, easier language. ^^
Well, my head hurts from being tired/sick, so I think I'm going to stop doing this and maybe get ready for bed. But that's weird cuz what if someone comes in and I'm in my jammies? Embarrassing! Well, not really. It shouldn't be... but I've lived alone for a year! I'm not used to this!

Yes! Pictures and tell us more! I hope you're feeling better soon. At least by the time Erica is there to sing with you.
Love,
Mom
