MMMEEEE!
I've been talking to Mary Haynie (a good friend of mine from the last Provo singles ward I was in) and she has an opening in her apartment in Sandy that will be available at the end of January. YAY! So I am going to visit hopefully next week (I will NOT go to my job interview that I have set up...), and see if it's where I want/need to be.
Ok, so I really reallyreally miss hanging out with Emily and Nathan and Easton and Lincoln. :( We here in Boise [tried to] play(ed) Carcassonne, but halfway through I said, "It's just not any fun without Nathan...." By the end of it we just didn't care anymore. Maybe it's cuz we didn't really understand how to play, but when Nathan is there it's like we magically understand the game better, haha :) OH, and I looked up Ticket to Ride and it costs like $50! WHAT THE HEY!!!!?! I don't understand. It's probably just cuz the guy who made it up and the company that produces it are greedy cesspools of maggot food. heh heh , that was gross. ew.
ANYwho, Summit is cute. Lady is a mysteriously cute rat. Melissa's geisha doll is headless and standing on our cabinet thinger by the dog treats. Now THAT"s creepy. Mom's plants next to the computer are dying. The Christmas decorations are still up. And I bought three NON-fiction books today. REally? me? whoa. haha ^^ I got a BIG book on European art, a big book on mysteries of the world or something, and a smaller book entitled something like 'The First Five Pages; how to stay out of the reject list." I don't think my first SENTENCE is all that great, let alone the first five pages. *sigh* I'll have to work on that. Wait--shouldn't I be posting this bit on my Book Blog?!? Ooops. oh well.
OH! EVERYBODY LISTEN UP! This is the first reminder about writing your New Years Resolutions-->Predictions for 2009! Get 'em in real quick, cuz the deadline is quickly approaching! (well, not really, but if you don't do it now, you'll forget and we'll have another 2008 incident where 3 people wrote theirs with one week left in the year. We don't want that!!!! ^^)
Oh! Do you like my new New Years song? Take a listen!
