REAL work

Sooooo this is what I did this weekend:



I helped Travis and his roommate unload hay, and WHOA it's hard work--and I didn't even do that much..! I just pushed 93 lb hay bales off the top of the truck for an hour or something, and Travis actually picked them up and stacked them in another semi trailer for storage.

Who woulda thought that it would be ME to help out with farm work...! I think we all figured that Emily would be the one to do that, lol :) , or Mel. But never me.. hmm :)

On Thursday we went back to the fair (well, Travis just ran in while I drove around the parking lot for 10 minutes), and got two more elephant ears and some churros! :D

YUM-O. It had been awhile since I had churros! Annnnnd yeah, I'm glad the fair is over so now I can get back to ..*trying* to eat healthier.. heh heh..

There was an AMAZING storm on Saturday that lasted for the entire night! I mean, it passed over us, but we went to the drive-in theater and had the storm and the lightning as a backdrop the entire time. COOL. And the lightning was striking at least once a minute, probably more. I wasn't really keeping track, but it struck over and over and OVER again! I drove home at 2 am and I could STILL see the storm at work. :D
