Yes, I went to Utah last week! I had so much fun staying with Emily and Nathan, and playing with my nephews rocked! Easton had his 4-year-old moments...but he also can be verrryyy sweet and very polite~ He snuggled with me when we watched How To Train Your Dragon, held my hand during it, and asked so many questions! Adorable!
We did a LOT of coloring while I was there, and I asked Easton what he thought of the movie:
And Lincoln is learning so many new words now! He can ...SORT of say my name, haha :
Easton also loves to make traintracks! He was really excited about this because "it has LOTS of junctions!!!!!"
While there, we saw THOUSANDS of birds flowing south in V's. It was crazy!! Linky saw them first and then all of us just stared at the sky like "whooooa..." They just kept coming and coming! out of the smog like ghosts!
Easton had this idea from one of his friends to make new crayons out of old crayons! Emily looked up how to do it, and you just put the crayons in foil-lined muffin tins and melt them til they're ..melted..and then voila!
At first, Emily and I were more excited about it than the boys were, lol
But then Linky got in on the fun and loved watching them melt.
And then finally Easton joined in
Lincoln is excited about how they're all melty! And they turned out awesome! We mostly put like colors together, but I did one with lots of different colors and Easton liked it because it was a rainbow crayon! :)
So on Friday we thought we'd go to the zoo. The boys were SSOOOO excited, but when we got there, the zoo was going to close in 5 minutes... whoops.. Lincoln was literally pushing my legs so we could still go inside, but sadly we couldn't. :( The kids handled it pretty well though. I was expecting tantrums, but they were just kinda bummed. But the "This is the Place" monument/park was really close, so we just went to that and walked and ran around and they had a good time.
So yeah! I freakin love my nephews! And it was good to see Em and Nathan. Thanks for trying to do P90X with me! haha :b Can't wait to see you all at Christmas. YAY
AND GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Erica comes home in EXACTLY ONE MONTH. KYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
