Italian Style Town

I have not blogged in it seems like forever!!!!!!  It's so hard to want to because blogging = writing, and writing = not holding on to the power cord, and not holding on to the power cord = no power for poor lappy!  So I try to write quick and only a few sentences at a time. :b  Tough life, huh.

Anywhos, it's Sunday today and i really wanted to get out and do something nice. But the second I step outside, BOOM, torrential rain. :b  whatev.  I go back in the hotel and order some McDonald's... NOT my idea of nice.  guh. Then I eat, take ANOTHER nap, wake up at around 8, and decide to try venturing out again. Problem is, I need money. Which means I need an ATM. And apparently there are NO ATM's ANYWHERE. GUH. Here are videos depicting my struggles:

I had been so hopeful.... I walk around forEVER looking for an ATM, and finally end up at the mall next to my school where I knew there was one. Totally out of the way, but...whatever. An HOUR AND 45 MINUTES LATER..... -->

I was so stinking exhausted and cranky and HUNGRY. But upon watching this video, I busted up laughing.. haha  :b

So the guys working at this restaurant had to wear leiterhosein or however it's spelled and they looked SO ridiculous! I felt really bad for them, and they probably felt really stupid. haha

BUT!
This was my dinner!!! SO GOOD.  And there was spicy mustard, and the saurkraut...(?) was YUM-O!

A statue at the end of the Italian Style Town main road.

The entrance!

I got some hazelnut and vanilla-ishtype gelato and walked slowly home and it was really nice :)  I am glad I FINALLY got food, and it was delicious and then I could relax!

This coming week is the second half and last week of Summer Camp!  I am going to be sad, but at the same time glad to not have to deal with crazyboy... :/  There's seriously a VEIN that pops out of this five year old's neck when he gets upset or yells or is mad or cries or whatever. I'm nervous for the play we have to put on for the parents, because not only do the kids have to learn lines for it, but I have to too!.... eep!

I hope they keep me at this center in Tianjin. I do NOT want to go back to Beijing...  But I was talking to my LLD (supervisor) and she said Rob might take me to another brand new center in Tianjin to help them set up. Which is fine, but it's an HOUR away by bus. ACK!  Whatever they choose to do with me though, as long as I can stay in this city, I'll be okay with it :)

Wow!!! Amazing rain! Great-looking food, but what a lot of work and frustration to get there. :-O Can't say I'm not nervous about you walking alone at night in the big city, but I'd be nervous if it was a small town as well. Oh well, we dads of daughters are pretty much all alike. :-\

You sure live in an amazing place! Praying, too, that you won't have to go back to Beijing again.

I love you.
