101 Things

Well, alright I'll do this, but only because I don't like going out at night in a big city by myself!

1. ...wow, I'm already at a loss. Ummmm, I like playing the piano?

2. I like transcribing songs I like so I can play them on the piano. Like if I can't find the sheet music anywhere, I'll just write it out myself. Take that, music publishers!

3. I LOVE Reese's. Duh. It's been my favorite candy since forever.

4. I like mikan juice! It's mandarin orange juice, and in Japan it's everywhere!

5. I have lived in Japan for over a year. crazy!

6. I can pretend to speak Japanese. Actually, now that I'm gone from Ishinomaki, I've found myself liking to use it more. Hmmm....

7. I've only had one boyfriend and it lasted for two months. dumb. oh, and I broke it off. go me.

8. And when I broke it off, I didn't shed a single tear. Am I heartless?

9. I have size 11 feet.

10. That being said, it's almost impossible to find and buy cute shoes. I want shoes SO BAD, but no one sells big shoes but Payless. Maybe I'll look for more shoes in America where size 11 even EXISTS.

11. I love my computer! When it got a virus, I was really really sad. I'm so glad I fixed it!

12. I like to watch TV on sidereel.com. It has everything that I never had time to watch! This last year I've watched 24 (I just hadn't watched season 6), Prison Break (all seasons), The OC (all seasons), Gossip Girl, The Office, Smallville (all seasons) and probably more!

13. I hate clothes shopping [most of the time]. I can never find anything good! And when I do, I know it's time to spend, cuz I probably won't find anything else for a long time!

14. I LOVE accessories shopping! You don't have to be skinny to wear cute earrings or hair things! I bought a LOT of accessories in Japan. :D heheeee!

15. I sigh a lot. Not because I'm bored or whatever. I just do. Like it just happens.

16. I am writing a book!

17. There will be 3 books in the series. Plus one from another character's point of view. Dang.

18. I like to write short stories about famous people hookin' up with the normal girl. ^^ I've only written 2, but they are totally and completely 100% made of awesome.

19. I made a list of all the students I wish I could take home with me.

20. That list has at least 15 names on it. Probably more. I don't know where it is at the moment.

21. Hot fudge brownies eaten straight from the pan with a fork is one of my favorite pasttimes. awwww, Westfall house roommies!!!

22. I just got a paper cut and I have no idea how it got there...

23. I wish I went running [every day]. It's something I like doing, but I'm always tired/the timing is bad/I'm lazy. I ran a lot before Japan, but now.... yeah. I hope to get back to doing that when I get home.

24. Sometimes I wonder what/who I would be if I went to London Study Abroad instead of Japan. Hmmmm...

25. I've had kissing dreams that starred John Krasinski, Zac Efron, and Heath Ledger. oh, but not all in one dream. And them kissing ME. heh.. ^^

26. The Great Dalmuti is [one of] my favorite game[s]! Good times last summer~

27. I also like Phase 10, Nertz and ...that one that we always play with Nathan... Hand and Foot? yeah!

28. Annin-doufu is a favorite dessert. (almond flavored tofu)

29. Kyoto is my favorite city in Japan

30. San Francisco is my favorite city in America!

31. Is it weird that I LOVE Wicked, but I've never actually seen it? ..... The music is great!

32. I enjoy singing Phantom of the Opera songs with Erica. :D

33. I'm using an unprotected internet line right now... *shrug*

34. Teaching kids in Japan has really solidified my wish for children. :) They're so CUET!

35. I have eyes that look green sometimes, teal, or grey. I love my eyes!

36. I also love my hair and hair color!

37. My favorite book series is the Twilight series! hhhhhotttt..

38. One of my favorite books is Persuasion.

39. I love movies! It's almost impossible to pick a favorite, because it changes every day. Right now, I like 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', 'The Holiday', and 'Serendipity' and 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith.' and Hitch. :D

40. When I was in Provo, I always had a bag of Macey's real chocolate chips (not semi-sweet), just in case I wanted to snack, or make cookies. haha...

41. Now that I've been in Japan for a year, it feels weird to wear shoes inside...

42. I bow to people now....

44. My students never believed me when I told them I was shy. HA!

45. I've only dyed (is that the correct spelling....? died? dyed?) my hair once, and that was Freshman year at BYU. It was a lighter version of what I've got now. I liked it.

46. Speaking of... I also wonder what I would be like if I chose something other than Linguistics to study. Hrm..

47. I wonder where I would be without the joys of Hanadan. Seriously. It changed my life.

48. On that note, also VlogBrothers have changed my life. I'm not kidding. They made my winter months in Japan much more bearable. They've also introduced me to new books and authors, new vocabulary and new awesomeness! And yeah!

49. I grind my teeth when I sleep... It's gross, I know, but I've done since I can remember and there's really not much I can do about it. Unless I wear a nightguard. But that's just icky.

50. I'm on 50!!! whoa! I wonder who I'll be in 50 years. Hmmmmm

51. People have told me I have awesome lips--like a movie star's, and very kissable. Too bad I haven't ever done much of that!

52. Chapstick used to be my best friend. Then I moved to Japan where it's humid and I don't really use it anymore. Desert climates are going to be a shock!

53. My hair was StRAIGHT in America. Here, it gets curly, partially because I got it thinned out (which is what they do here), partially because of the humidity! And i like it!

54. My hands are huge. People are nice and say they're good for piano, but I hate how they are bigger than a guy's hands! ew! I want my hands to be dainty!

55. I don't really like gum anymore.. I used to LOVE it in high school, but now I like mints.

56. I gained my "freshman 15" just this last year in Japan. GROSS! I need to lose it ASAP!

57. I want to learn another language, like French or Korean.

58. I want to go to Scotland, England, France, Italy and Greece.

59. I'm tall. People like to argue that I'm 5'10", but I'm 5'8.5ish. I've been measured. ACCEPT IT, PEOPLE. (Chris and Spencer didn't believe me, but I proved them wrong when Spencer got out his measuring tape. ha!)

60. I've had the same watch since I worked at Dr. Cutler's. It's a Fossil watch, and the face is really scratched up. I kind of want a new one...

61. I want to buy an expensive purse!!!!

62. Disneyland and DisneySea are my FAVORITE!!! Donald Duck is my favorite Disney character.

63. Emily introduced me to blogger, and now I hardly remember that I ever used to be on MSNspace thinger.

64. I like the smell of coffee.

65. I enjoy spoiling my nephew and being the best Aunt ever~ :D

66. Marie Digby's music makes me smile~ (see the playlist on the righthand side)

67. I haven't really played piano for a year. How sad it that?!?! I've got to get back to it! and fast!

68. My eyes are farther apart than most people's. I used to be self-conscious about it, but my eye doctor said that Audrey Hepburn's eyes were far apart, and that made me feel better. That, and I read this thing online about how to do your eye make-up to make them look closer together. yay!

69. Speaking of eyes, one of my eyes is far-sighted, and one is near-sighted, which makes it difficult to get a prescription.

70. Eating alone in restaurants and going to movies alone doesn't bother me anymore. Thank you, Japan.

71. I enjoy sushi!!! VERY MUCH!

72. I am "double jointed" in my thumbs. They can go to weird angles.

73. My nostrils are different shapes. .... um, yeah.. if you think I"M weird, go check out YOURS. I'll bet they're not the same shape either!

74. The space bar on my computer is worn out on the right side. Like it's shinier there. I guess I use my right hand more for spaces.

75. The only letter keys that aren't shiny on my laptop keyboard are: q, z, x, and kind of v and w. haha..

76. I haven't had a date in over a year. DEPRIVED!

77. So You Think You Can Dance is one of my FAVorite shows!

78. I'm a little in love with Jim Halpert. hahaha ^^

79. I PWN karaoke boxes. :D

80. I learned about the term "pwn" through Brotherhood 2.0. It means 'to own' something. A video game had a typo that read, "you've been pwned" when you died. hahaha

81. I hate long fingernails too (Emily, i totally agree with you!)

82. Anytime Emily or Erica or Melissa posts a new blog, it totally makes my day!

83. My chocolate, white-chocolate-chip cookies are to DIE for! I can't wait to bake again!

84. I like Irish soda bread. YUM!!!!

87. I'm having a hard time coming up with more things about myself.... oh! When I was younger (3rd grade i think), I named my yellow umbrella "Herbie." I was such a dork!

88. DDR is my favorite! (haha, i have a lot of favorites..!)

89. When I was in grade school, I wanted to be a teacher. Well, look at me now!

90. I used to wear this black shirt with piano keys on it every time I went to music class in Elementary school.

91. I had a pet rat. sounds icky, but I loved her!

92. I love Japanese gardens. I want one someday!

93. I'm a member of the ANAL club. Absolutely No Action Lately Club. haha...

94. I climbed Timp once and can't wait to do it again!

95. I love camping!

96. I went cliff jumping and loved it!

97. I'm not flexible at ALL.

98. I'm a Nerdfighter. YES!!!

99. I played piano at my high school graduation ceremony. WHAT? scary!

100. I tried out for BYU Women's Chorus three times, and only made it past the first round on the last audition. sad.

101. I have sensitive teeth. (yeah, lame for the last one, but I couldn't think of anything else!!!)

Whoa, i'm finished!!! yay! And later tonight when I'm trying to go to sleep I'll probably think of more cooler things to add to this list, so it may turn out to be more than 101 things!!
